St. Ann School shares scholarship information

December 12 Open House to explain the Illinois Invest in Kids Act

information provided by St. Ann School

LANSING, Ill. (December 6, 2017) – St. Ann School is hosting an Open House on Tuesday, December 12, 6:00–8:00pm, to let families and prospective families know about scholarship options available from the state.

The State of Illinois Invest in Kids Act went into effect August 31, 2017. According to a bulletin from the Illinois Department of Revenue, the act “allows income tax credits for taxpayers who make authorized contributions to a Scholarship Granting Organization (SGO). The SGOs, in turn, provide scholarships for eligible Illinois students to attend non-public schools in Illinois.”

St. Ann’s Open House is being promoted as an informational session to help families determine if they qualify for access to new scholarships, with the possibility of covering up to 100% of tuition and fees for the next school year.

Attenders will also have opportunities to tour the classrooms, science and computer labs, and art and enrichment rooms. Staff will be available to answer questions about curriculum, classroom sizes, and classroom technology.

St. Ann School is located at 3014 Ridge Road in Lansing. For more information about the December 12 Open House, call 708-895-1661.
